Thanks anyway tweets, congrats on the weight loss.

Thanks mrsmac, i've read the blurb online, but it's better to get advice from someone who actually has them.

I've got a flat roof that could be fitted out with panels, i'm trying to offset my electric costs.

Also toying with the the idea of getting rid of the gas bill by installing a range.

Hi frequent I have mentioned this before. We have them all across the back of our house. They were freeeeeeeee. Basically the company rent our roof for a percentage of free electricity for us and they keep the rest.

We do notice cheaper bills but not in the Winter as such lol.
They maintain them and if anything goes wrong the fix them. The panels don't bother us on the roof and protects the tiles so it's a win win situation really .

Talking of iPint, do any womblers (or people that actually buy it) want £5/£2 off? I have a few and it seems a shame to waste them but I don't drink Carling, I just get the free ones for my family and/or prize draws

I would love to say yes pk but Carling wombles are like hens teeth:o

Does anyone have solar panels ?

    Are they cost effective ?

    TIA

We don't have them but will consider them when they manage to produce decent batteries to go with them. Also I have heard that they can decrease the value of the house they are on, don't know why though.
