Perhaps more importantly - but then again there's been some 500g cheese at £1.50 in A which is much better than this - the Wyke Mature Cheddar was taken off the list in error. I thought it was the same as the Wyke Mature Farmhouse Cheddar but it is not.
So that one was removed wrongly (still £5/Kg in M). Now, on the Creamy French Brie (counter and prepacked versions available), this was kept on the list. This may still be £5/Kg in your M; however it is in the process of increasing in price and you may have only the higher priced versions. (So, arguably, for your M, I should have kept Wyke Mature Cheddar on the list when I wrongly deleted it and should delete the French Creamy Brie but I've kept it on:rotfl:.) They are all on different barcodes, depending on their actual weight, so I can't give any BCs. You may have only the £5/kg ones in your M - though I suspect you will now, two days later, have the new higher price ones too. Or you may have both versions (whether now or already did two days ago), or may only have the higher priced ones, or may have neither version. To add to the matter, it seems that the majority view is that the French Brie at the counter is still £5/kg. Obviously I can't check that but that's what it was showing in most Ms for me where it was in stores at all - although I had one store that had £5.60/kg. If it says £5/kg at the counter, you will need to check that indeed you are being charged £5/kg and not more.
It seems that the prepacked ones are £5/kg if they have BB 11 April 2016. The higher priced ones I saw had BBs starting 14 April 2016. So, somewhere between 11 and 14 April BB dates, they are going up in price:(. They will be put back onto the list - for all of two days - as they will doubtless be available somewhere until 11 April at £5/kg (and if still available then, may be best pounced on near last thing on Monday evening?).
This is not the 180g versions on £2 and any 2 for £3 btw:eek:. They are much much more expensive!0 -
Good morning:)
It's not carling again0 -
Good morning!:)
Are the Hellena Peanut Cookies (200g) 10p in M? They were on RTC too - have been, still are! The only offer label I could find - which was on the floor in one store and of course no stock - still said 50p. Maybe they are 50p - or maybe they have followed the other RTCs in this area and gone to 10p:T. If you know, having either managed to find stock and maybe successfully bought them, or maybe seen a 10p offer label in your store but have no stock:(, I would like to know.
I would love to hear your successes (and failures:() on these things btw, if it doesn't distract too much from the thread. Just like to know if I'm making a difference and enabling people to buy items at these bargain prices. As well as, quite useless information:rotfl:, what's turning up where.0 -
The thing that strikes me about M in Up Hatherley (Cheltenham) is how big it is. However, it would be no good confining a price collection to there. The store didn't have any of the individual Fishcakes at 47p that have started appearing in some Ms:rotfl::rotfl:. There were other items missing - including a significant range that appeared at another store!
This time, I had one store, early on, where I only seemed to get two additional items. One of which was also in another store but I'm not sure the other one was. And, anyway, it contributed its own other things. However, as if I had collected everything by that stage, the number of completely new items seemed to expand thereafter with more in the next stores and even more in the later ones:rotfl:! (I think the last store of the day gave me about twice as much as I got from elsewhere - and all completely new ones on me. This - after in excess of 70 stores:rotfl::rotfl:.)0 -
A few random items:
M Firm Hold Hairspray 75ml 25p (regular shelving, good luck on finding this one - won't be in many M stores I feel)
20 pack of Christmas Party Poppers at 9p on some RTC shelf (down from 25p)
Country Club Novelty Hot Water Bottle - Christmas legacy £1.50 RTC shelf M Up Hatherley. Yes, these items have got to go back onto the list:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Really, just about the only items, besides the Selection Boxes, that I really could not envisage M still having - and they are now about the only ones to turn up!! If you take the £3 one but show them the other one that has gone down to £1.50 and get them to put the £3 one, which doesn't have sticker on it, through at £1.50 as it should be, then someone else can buy the £1.50 marked one at £1.50. Otherwise, you'll leave a second person with only a £3 hot water bottle and no proof that it should be £1.50. Helps us to save money - rather with us than them;). Thank you!:)0 -
M list is now (mostly) set to non-bold text ready to update with new items - I haven't really started at all on that part yet. So, lots of new items to come - to be done over a number of days no doubt! Just noting the items with versions I have previously missed:rotfl:. Like the Egyptian Towel Aqua version. And the Creightons Beautiful Brunettes:rotfl:. On the Egyptian towels, btw, hope my list is being useful - and that, if you have an M with only £1 ones, that are you still waiting for a 50p one to appear rather than knowingly overspending! Well, you might have picked up and bought:eek: a £1 towel were you unaware there are 50p versions elsewhere and therefore you shouldn't be buying the £1.
I've now got the American version of 400g YOO Hot Dogs that I didn't have before:rotfl:. And I've got the Spicy Tomato version of Princes Mackerel Fillets 125g at the 50p RTC - so that's now been added (belatedly again:rotfl:) - didn't have that from my small number of stores on Monday/Wednesday (APG up to then checked more than me) but... I've now only seen Spicy Tomato version in one store so far! Tomato in general seems less available to me from my perspective of stores (although maybe it's a different position completely from another set).
I trust people have noticed that the Microwave Egg Poachers went up from 38p to £1 perhaps a couple of weeks ago and were therefore deleted from the list (subtle change you may have missed - don't buy them at £1!). In fact I only ever saw them at 38p in one store - incessantly throughout the year at 38p then went up to £1, then later came back down and on to 38p RTC:huh:. They have been remaining at £1 whenever I've seen them elsewhere. They went to £1 and back onto the regular shelving in the store that had had them at 38p (or maybe had a subtly different BC that's sold out at 38p and the new £1 version replaced them - looks like the same product to me:rotfl:). Also the Cucumber Peel Off and Dead Sea Face Masks have come off mbuy. They are no longer 2 for £1.50 - and are now straight price. They've therefore gone too - I thought I was no longer seeing the mbuy on the shelving in Ms by Thursday and checked them at the till later that day.
However, there was confusion for me over the Little Explorers Happy Splashy Body Wash. I thought it had gone up from £1 to £2.43 during the course of the offer (due to run until 17th April). In fact they are still £1. There is a 300ml version at £2.43 and a 250ml version at £1. I was seeing only stock of the 300ml in a number of stores - and thinking that the £1 product was now £2.43 as there were no £1 versions there. So, I'm happy to put that record straight. I've noticed it as I found a store with both versions side by side and obviously wondered about what related to what. The £1 price is therefore still on - and looks it may run until 17 April like it should do.
May I'll bump this? Can I do so - hope you don't mind (and sure you don't)?
Goodbye for now folks!:)fairclaire wrote: »Anyway....
