Yep I definitely drew the short straw tonight. The original babysitter is tucked up in her bed while I'm squished into a small 2 seater sofa with a little blanket  my good nature is being taken advantage of here :rotfl:

Now I'm not sure fanny is an acceptable word on here :naughty: but you are a nice fanny so you are let off :rotfl::rotfl:

I've had to battle autocorrect there who keeps changing fanny to 'funny'

    :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well it didn't censor it so it must be okay ;):D

it's perfectly fine savvy. You enjoy it however you please to. it's always been a no obligation thing for those who are inclined to have fun with it.

Gambling with a conscience maybe? If you watch the race then I hope you enjoy it too

I've never ignored it at all (as long as I've been on this thread) even if it seems I have and I've no objection to taking part at all - it's just I literally don't know how to do the online transaction!!:o:rotfl:

I think I'll sit it out for another year though and watch the fun as usual!:):A

Yall be right lass....as they say here in Lancashire (no I don't know what it means either)

I'm going to my bed too.....I hate to tell you it's a super kingsize ikea bed with a small man in the corner :D :rotfl::rotfl:

I will endeavour to get up early (alarm set) to keep the national list up to date. Feel free to fill it up by yourselves until I do.

DS2 has the list and will ramdom generate the horses in the morning.
  • Not just a king-size. But a super king size. Pfft some people really do just take the pee :p :rotfl: You welcome to the small man in the corner though ;):D

Well if you ever do want to participate and be guided through the donation process, I'd be very happy to help. It's not difficult once you know how and not knowing how to do something should never stop you from participating.

You have addressed an absolute worry I have for DS2 with this post. A feeling of exclusion because you don't how something works. I worry about this daily! I'm on a mission to teach him as much as I can about society in a short time. in the hopes that he gets it. You've highlighted the difficulties in that and it's very helpful indeed. So thank you. it really is 'the small things' that cause so much difficulty.

You are a bright shiny star savvy :A

At last - the horrid Harpic toilet cleaners (or at least they have been) are no longer on £1 r'back in A. They have shot up - and thus immediately no longer horrid! - to £1.98 in A!:j:D:D Just watch they aren't on a sneaky 2 for £2 are they? They are £1 in T and M so A might want to match that individual price still even if now getting people to buy an mbuy to do so. I do hope one gets put on and that that gets (temporarily) unseen.

Given that they are now nice £1.98 instead of useless 10p 10% £1 vs £1, I will now put them onto the M list! I'll have to start remembering to get their prices in M now:rotfl: - been so long that they've been on that horrible r'back (good job I remember they are £1 each in M anyway).

Are the Maryland's Gooeys (Chocolate) (160g) now 10p in M? I'm just coming across them in my list - I might find something that I've written down about them later.

Meanwhile, the Easter mini eggs bags (100g) have now gone down to 50p. So, we were right to ignore their 75p and to wait for them to go lower. However, I still think 50p is too high - need to hold out on them more I think:money:.

I have Lindt Lindor Milk, Nestle Milkybar and Nestle Smarties, each 100g. There is also a Galaxy one at 80g:( - and maybe even more versions than that - I've been ignoring that one (and possibly other lower-than-100g-weighted ones) as it's obviously even worse - however, if prices go down further, then the 80g ones might (although not as good as 100g) become themselves worthwhile. So, I'll have to remember to start getting details of the 80g ones as well now on:rotfl:.

I don't know whether Lindt Lindor Mini Milk Chocolate Truffles (100g) from Christmas have ever gone down lower than 50p. I haven't seen them since. I now suspect they are available in some M somewhere. Can anyone assist?

Do you know what? Since my experience on Thursday, I now think that the Cointreau Liqueur Chocolates available at 50p in M shortly after Christmas are going to be knocking around somewhere in an M even though they will now be extremely rare. So, I'm not removing them just yet! I need to reinstate several Christmas items I knocked off the list several months ago instead as they are clearly available in M (I have seen stock in the last couple of days:rotfl:). Yes - bring back the Santa Selection Box!:D:T:j:rotfl::) And the Freddo one too:rotfl::rotfl:. Now wondering if I have to bring back the whole lot - Star Wars, can't remember the rest anyway - as, since the Santa and the Freddo ones are available as of two days ago in an M, maybe the others are somewhere as well? A bit sadly though the Santa and Freddo ones (and I assume the others if they are still available somewhere in some M) were each still 50p and have not dropped further. Come on M, it's months afterwards now! They should at least now be much much cheaper than that!

I expressed my surprise at finding them to the SA and she said that she hadn't seen any going through the tills now. I wondered if they were the only M that has them. Well, there we are - seems like only Savvy finds them:rotfl:!

(If you want to try for one, at 50p!:(, and if you're anywhere near, it's Gloucester Abbeydale (RTC shelf) that you may need to check. I left one there - a little battered - a Freddo box for you. I did buy the other two I found - even at 50p:o:rotfl: - replacing the ones my family consumed way too early well before their BB and that I thought I would never be able to replace. Well, I was wrong on that. And still quite a date on them (of course). Does that mean the Santa Selection Box may now no longer be available from M as I took the last one? I'll put them back onto the list, just in case they're somewhere else:rotfl:. For all I know, Abbeydale may have lots out in the back that somehow all got put into one place and forgotten about for several months when they should have been clearing them out just after Christmas - until they brought a few out and put them onto the clearance shelf where I've now found them.)
