Trainers falling apart after 6 months

As you say it's not a battle worth having, I hope you had a wonderful time travelling :-)
I would recommend if your doing a lot of walking a brand like regatta would be a better investment in the future. I love my regatta walking shoes, and at over six months old worn most days they are still going strong. I also have had some leather Karrimor walking boots from sports direct they are 5 years old and still in great condition.
Depending on your shoe size if it's under size 6 it's always worth looking at the kids range in any make of trainer, I'm a 6 but most 5.5's fit. Saved a small fortune buying 'children's' trainers and shoes over the years.
I should add I am not someone who does running on a regular basis, I know people who do and they go through trainers at speed.0 -
