Been following this all the way, didn't think I was going to get it, rang a few times told me 12th may then 23rd may, and got message today saying it been sent out, and says bank payment with Monday's date 23rd my issued, repayment £2800, did it on 8th April. Hope you get yours soon.

Still pending, but wasn't expecting any less as I'm guessing it won't update now till tomorrow. Hope those who got issued last week has received the payment. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

to be honest, and imo, fair, you shouldn't be relying on refunds from Self Assessment to fund your holiday. Perhaps were are due a refund, but certain checks need to take place in order to ensure

a) the refund is correct, and that you are not potentially been overpaid

and b), the refund is being issued to the correct person, via the means requested.

How would you feel if they rushed the refund through and it ended up in the wrong account or to the cheque went to the wrong address
