Likewise to you TA, half a stone between us is good going! Perhaps without the wine might have lost another pound but the pleasure of sitting with a small but perfectly formed glass of Pinot noir in my hand far outweighed what that extra loss would have done. Yes I want to lose weight but have to live as well xx
  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one. Gers, Mr & Mrs TA. Hester and Judi.

Its hissing down with rain just now, am hoping we get a window in the rain and I can hang out the last load of laundry. May be I should have done it yesterday, but there really was not enough.

WE are going round to the little chapel for our coffee this morning a chance to catch up with the village gossip!! and have a chat to friends.

Fritatta for supper tonight, will do a salad with it, the scotch pies were nice last night, I made an extra rich gravy to go with them, yummy.

Not a lot going on, no idea what OH will be doing today, its too wet to do anything in the garden, I guess it might be jig saw.

    Morning all

Lovely and bright and sunny here, hope it lasts. I have the choice of walking or a bike, May stick to walking as I don't want to stress my already fragile back. Going to a few galleries today, not sure I will enjoy them as it's not my thing but I'll give it a go.

Well done dumpling. Tru I hope you get sorted out soon, feel free to visit!
Snoozer, good on you for reading the small print.

Hugs to all in need, especially gers, candlelight and judi. Hope you're well LW and hilstep. Take care. Xx

Evening everyone - it's almost 6.30pm here and getting dark outside. It's been pouring with rain all day with a pleasant 16c.

The mood is beginning to lighten within the family, at least outwardly, and so three of us ventured out to the National Art Gallery for lunch and viewing. I enjoyed the Whistler exhibition whilst the other two did the Warhol / Ai Weiwei one. Now I'm back a the hotel sipping on a chilled white wine. Number 1 nephew will go out tonight with number 3 nephew, number 2 already back at work.

Dumpling - well done on getting out. Small steps!

    Lainey - congratulations.

Again, thanks so much for the continued support. I fly home on Friday evening and will be glad to get back home.

Hugs to anyone I've missed - Camelot, have a fab time.

    Hi guys,
Not been on here as I have been ill again. My consultant wanted me to try new pills. They made me vomit and gave me the runs too. I had no energy either, spent three days in bed. :o

Getting over it now. Seeing him next Tuesday, so hopefully he will be able to adjust them.

I have also been going to our local Hospice once a week for a respite day. Really enjoying it:T

    Hope everyone is okay.

Grey and drizzling her, been gardening but getting too wet now. Went to see Eddie the Eagle yesterday, really enjoyed it.

Sausage ratatouille for dinner tonight, then off to quiz.

Sending hugs to Gers and Candlelight, well done Dumpling and can't wait to hear Hester's response to SS

Redruby I hope Evie is ok and the vet can get her sorted out. If it came on that quickly, it does sound like an allergic reaction to something.

You can come here - I'm about as sociable as you are, so we'll get on well.:D And I'm sure Jack and Scampi can have fun together in the back garden.:rotfl:

Nice and sunny today so managed to get washing hung outside.

Slept in and woke up to a kind neighbour at the door who had taken in a parcel for me :o Looks as if the sandals and slippers I ordered a few days ago have arrived.

I need to pop out later to get nice salad vegs and ingredients for a veg and rice or pasta dish as a vegan relative is coming round tomorrow. DD comes round tonight so we can go to diet club together. An Easter weekend away seems to have turned into a food disaster fortnight so dread the scales.

Think I have finally decided on paint colours for bedroom and living room and will have to buy them by the weekend ready for people next week to start on the painting.

Hugs to Gers, Judi, Candleight, dumpling and hester. Would love to be a fly on the wall when hester delivers her riposte.

    Hugs to all
