Explorer needs updating from 9 to 11 on Windows Vista

End of support does not mean Chrome will stop working in Vista. It means that, like XP, users will no longer receive security updates and patches so increasing the chances of picking up malware.

Thanks for this help. I've decided to try slim jet and see how I get on. However I think I need a new virus checker as Windows essentials has gone from my bottom toolbar. Can anyone recommend a free virus checker please. Also I can't seem to find in help how to set Google as my homepage. Any help with that would be appreciated too. Many thanks everyone.
I'm mistaken sorry . Windows essential is still in there.
So just some help with Google homepage needed. Thanks

I would suggest, whichever browser you are using, type in make google my homepage, then when it comes up, there should be a box on it click on this to make your homepage.

You do know that computers work off electricity now. Dump Vista and get a cheap machine that runs Windows 10 Simple.
