Parcelfarce delivered item to Amazon instead!!

Both.

Though had an email from the Managing Directors office of Parcelforce saying Amazon had found the package! They'd opened the outer packaging but that the books were ok and had been returned to the Parcelforce depot. Now waiting for it to finally be delivered to my house. :T :j

Final post - both books were delivered this morning with an apology from the driver on behalf of Parcelforce.

It was an email to Parcelforce complaints that made the difference so if anyone has an issue with Parcelforce, email facts including dates, description of item etc as I got the impression the edinburgh office had got a bit of a rollicking about it. Hopefully it'll not happen to anyone else in this postcode area and they are a bit more vigilant in future.
