I suspect that Will I ever learn is one of those people who never do. Incidentally the cancelled DD idea was good but too late by one day.
Never mind, you can ignore this piece of information too.

eg anyone know of late opening banks - if not to help me this time to help another.
You would be better off finding an online account with a decent savings account you could link to it. That way you could have some savings available to transfer across online should you find yourself in that situation again. Most banks allow instant transfers between their accounts.

I don't think you've said when you have to pay the money in by, but if you have a couple of days to spare how about stuffing a tenner, a paying in slip, and a short note into an envelope and posting it to your branch?

This was my suggestion but OP kicked off big time!
    Await further excuses anytime now:confused:
  • very sympathic!! Though these forums were for advice not to be criticial. I was hoping people would have constructive advice. If I am so for making excuses then i'd make an excuse for the course, call in sick or something but I'm not like that.

My family have died. I've moved somewhere I can't ask people to do this yet.
Why should I dump this one someone anyway, not far to say to someone go to the bank for me really is it!!

The bank doesn't have a facility to do this. I did ask them and they don't.
    It happens all the time!
If you are on a course for work get one of your mates from work to pay in a fiver for you (or whatever you need) surely that is not asking too much.
Or are you Billy no mates?

You are right in that I call a spade a spade - if you don't want my advice block me so that you don't have to read my postings.
