We did this a week prior to departure, as per the last bullet point on my last post. As far as we can see it still classes as a delay as we were not informed until it was too late to argue.

Doing it a week prior to departure is too far out. Even if you went for a week there is a 2 week gap in which anything could happen. The ideal time to check it is about 24 hours prior to the flight (when most airlines open OLCI) and then again on the morning of your flight. If they'd brought the time forward you would have missed the flight (and people missing flights because of not checking their itinerary close enough to departure is certainly not unheard of).

I'm confused. There is something not right. Condor wouldn't notify the agent other than if they had anyone already booked on that flight (and you weren't at that stage). The notification would go out with that persons personal details on it, addressed to them c/o the agent. Otherwise the time would just be changed in the booking system. That would make it impossible for an agent to book you on a flight showing the incorrect flight time. If the time had already been changed, the system would already show the latest scheduled departure time, not an historic one.

The airline didn't change. It was always going to be operated by Condor and there was no cancellation or delay, just a schedule change. Why did anyone from TC have to direct your to Condor. Surely you wouldn't have just gone to their check in desks when you got to the airport?
