You'll be fine, a quick trip along the Queslett Road from Kingstanding to the Scotts when the car cruisers are out and about and you wont have any left.:)

Lol, what about the 2 speed cameras in between Asda and the Scott Arms?

I used Pheasey Driving School (Tony Parkes - lived on Romney way, halfway between Chantry Crescent and Gainsborough Crescent on the left as you come up from Queslett Road) but I'm not sure if he is still going. If he is, i passed my test after 21 hours of lessons with him, and my wife passed with him too. She didnt drive for a while so when she bought a car he gave her some refresher lessons to get her confidence up

How long ago was this? That is so spooky, I was under a driving school called "Approved" or something like that & I didn't like my 1st instructor & changed to another one. His name was Tony (don't remember his surname) & he lived on Romney Way. This was around 1989 - 90 ish. The car he had was an Austin Metro 5 door (quite new). He was the one I took my test with (under Sutton Coldfield test centre. I was living in Sutton at the time & remember having to turn right at the Horse & Jockey junction & I nearly s***t a brick!

I regularly walk up & down Romney Way now & have never noticed a driving school car up there.

Have been for a job interview this week & although the interview went well, the place isn't far away from my home & accessible by bus, as I answered "no" to the question on the application form "do you drive", I got asked why not.

 I feel as if I'm hitting my head against a brick wall at the moment.

Haven't heard back from them yet, so don't know I was successful or not.
