And I guess wave goodbye to much consumer protection legislation.

I've never had a problem with returns at Makro (our local is Teesside). Staff always been very friendly, and their policy is no different to, say, Argos etc.

And very easy to get the card. I actually only used headed paper from my ltd company and a bank statement.
  • When I joined you just needed some headed paper - easy with a PC. Also never had a problem with returns. MAkro on the whole isn't that cheap - except their specials.
  • Be wary of your till receipt at the end of your visit. We visit often, and on many occasions things don't add up..i.e. shelf edge labels displaying a lower price than you get charged.
  • Anyone know if Reading is worth a visit at the mo?

This is very true had more than my fair share of misprices because of this. However they are very good at correcting it. Mind you it works both ways and have often had much cheaper prices than I expected. I have tended not to which those corrected.
  • not much reduced at all in the one I visited today. Poor show all round really :(

Makro are brilliant, and the 28 no quibble returns policy is better than most stores! Remember that if you work for any government agency or public services (police/nhs etc)you can also qualify for membership.

So as I'm in the Royal Navy I can get a card??
How do I go about doing it?
