Notice of Correction - now obsolete, what next?

Evening all.
I noticed an erroneous entry on my Equifax credit report early this year (which wasn't replicated on Experian) so contacted Equifax and, as of this week, the offending entry has been removed.
When I notified Equifax, they lodged a Notice of Correction (which I didn't request) and that still sits on my credit file with them. Given that the subject of the notice is now obsolete, what will happen to the notice?
It might be my OCD but I don't want it littering my pretty credit report.
Thanks.

Hi
I would think Equifax can remove it, or at least change it if it’s no longer correct. Contact them to see what they can do.
It’s worth getting it removed as a notice of correction can sometimes make credit applications take longer.
