Currys PC World Used TV When I Paid For New

I'd just take it back and get a refund, it was either on display or returned by a customer. Both of these options make it secondhand.0

How much was the TV?
I'd expect an ex display or returned TV to have between 10% to 30% off depending on condition, missing accessories, etc. However they should have been more honest with you from the start. What do you actually want as an outcome to this?
For the record I wouldn't touch an ex display TV. It'll already have a lot of hours use placed on it, will have had the contrast set way too high and been prodded and poked. I suspect this is what you've been given.0 -
some tv's have a hidden menu and show how long its been turned on, google the model number you might find out how long its been used for0
