Thomson seem to be ignoring my claim

In early January I claimed via the MMSE link for a delay of over 24 hours on a flight to Mexico which was caused by technical problems with the aircraft. I received an automatic response which stated they would try to respond within 56 days. After 49 days I chased and received the same automated reply. After 56 days I escalated the claim and got yet another identical automated response. IT is now day 76 and I have heard nothing. I have therefore messaged Thomson and after a number of messages passing between us and them telling me that they have delays of over 105 days in dealing with these claims, they now tell me that they haven't received my claim! Has anyone else had this sort of experience with Thomson. Is it just a ruse to delay the claim even longer?

Read Vauban's Guide .... don't know when you were delayed airlines will procrastinate particularly if close to the 6 year (England) or 5 year (Scotland) threshold .... your future posts (if required) should be on the dedicated Thomson thread ..... finally YES Thomson are trying to fob you off.

Thanks I have found Vauban's guide and will read it in detail. Our delayed flight was only in early January 2016 so Thomson wont manage to hold me off long enough to time bar me I just find it frustrating that they wont just pay up. They could of course have done this without even requiring us to claim. They knew on the day who was booked on the flight and they had all of our details.
