The floor dries more quickly. That's the only advantage I see over a mop and bucket.

We have the 'X5' I think its called..? Works well to give our laminate and tiled floors a nice clean. The handle is slightly flimsy though so maybe try a Karcher for a top end option.
My tip is to use deionised ironing water in it rather than regular tap water - avoids limescale buildup for starters but also give the home a nice fresh smell
