They should already check by themselves where money came from...
If the money was transferred into your account then they already know where it came from, that's not what they're asking, what they want to know is what the source is, not where it was from. It's pretty clear that there is some suspicion of money laundering or other illegal activity, and if you want to get your hands on the money you need to provide the evidence that they require, which you appear to have failed to do so far.0 -
Just spoke with them on the phone. After investigation they won`t let access to my account. They sent me a letter to UK adress ( I dont live there few months ofc ), where they explain why and how can I appeal.
I can go to the branch see letter and appeal there. Don't have money right now to fly over there just to appeal.
Also I can`t log in to the account anymore.0 -
Send a written complaint, document everything. The CEO details are above, having them released via the CEO office who may ask you to email a scan of photo ID and a current bill at your address abroad is your best bet
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

It appears that the bank have serious suspicions about the origin of the funds. Unless you are able to provide evidence that the funds are legitimate they won't release them to you. Their concerns are great enough that they appear to have closed your account.
You have the right to appeal and/or complain but the bank are compelled to block funds if they believe that something is wrong. They also have the right to terminate the relationship.
From the information that you've provided I don't see that the bank have done anything wrong.0
