I owe Npower a lot of money (over £800) I've been trying to pay it off but not fast enough for them and they insisted on fitting a prepayment metre, my landlord said he would only allow me to get one if npower took me to court, so they said they would, they did yesterday and I assumed they would write to me and let me know and I could agree to them coming around, but they didn't, they just came around this morning when I was out and changed the locks, which is annoying but fine, I traveled to the address they left (40 miles away) to collect the keys but when I got home the door wouldn't open. It's a upvc door and the handle no longer plus up it turns 360 degrees around and around, so the door won't open at all.
I have no other way into the house.
I have tried calling npower but it says the phone lines are closed until Monday, I don't know what to do.
I have two young children and we are currently at a friends house but we can't sleep here and I don't know where I'm going to go.
Can anyone offer any advice?
Thank you.

Was it the landlord or NPower who changed the locks, I can't believe its NPower. Did the LL then give NPower the keys so you had to collect them. Something very fishy here.
