I can't comment on the red route point, other than is there anywhere for visitors to park vs any other house you may buy?
But I was going to point out that yes, town houses are not for everyone and as such they tend to offer good value for money/be slightly cheaper than a comparable two storey house. We had a baby while living in one and although the room sizes were generous, the extra stairs were a pain. It was ideal for us in the beginning as we wanted to work from home so a downstairs room to use was perfect - nicely separated from the living space above. But many families wouldn't choose it. We sold ours pretty quickly though, it's just getting the right buyer.0 -
G_M - Electric is old fashioned I believe. Standard fuse box adapted with pop out circuit breakers.
Budget for changing the fuse box, and posibly the wiring, sometime in the next year or two.
If you're doing any major redecoration/re-building it might make sense to update the wiring (if needed) at that point.

Bromley? Red route? 1960`s Town House? Not on London Road is it?!0
-
Lewis - No not London road, but it is further down the A21 past Bromley South. But I think I know what you're referring to as we did see a couple places on London Road. You from that area?0

Born and raised in Beckenham, but spent a few years just off London Rd.0
