2 fairly decent items have sold on fleabay. Money to savings.
It was also payday :j have done the big money shuffle. Very happy with progress:
EF fund @ 57%
Other savings @ 37% - after £100 spent on hotel for next year (which was anticipated part of saving)
Other savings increased beyond plan
Picked lounge carpet - just need to confirm fitting
Removed fitted wardrobe
Decluttered much more stuff, some sold, some ready for selling
Getting in to a habit of making cakes/biscuits rather than buying
Using freezer stuff to reduce 'stock holding' and minimise food budget spend by using what we have
Used more of CB card when I can (despite technical issues today)
DH got accepted for his own CC for first time in 15 years (just for credit score building and maximising points/rewards back and online protection)
Another good month with good progress. Happy days.0 -

Progress... sold two more things on fleabay, all posted and money in savings, split 2 ways. Reconciled pots and decided to withdraw £50 out of girls 'group' pot as it was in excess - again moved to savings 2 ways.
Bunk bed arrived
Washed 3 loads and almost entirely dried outside
Found a nature trail in the most random place that was free
On project use upgoing away at the end of the week (only for 3 days and already paid) but want to use the opportunity to run the fridge down. Leftovers for lunch today and tomorrow and tomorrow night. Much more space in the freezer too
Managed to get contactless card to work again today, nearly at my £100 spend for the month which will get me £5. Been using it for years postage at the PO0 -
Another 3 items sold on fleabay, 2 ready to post and money already in savings. 1 more messaged to say they will pay Thursday. Will post sat.
Need to spend chunk on rental bathroom, not loads but still need to pay it. Will use savings, long term plan is to get a EF for rental as well as our main one.
Our dining room window has a massive gap in it, didn't think it was that bad last year but seems terrible tonight. I have a quote already - either need to bite the bullet or get some curtains to try and block some of it out.
DD got given some money as a treat to spend on a day out. My youngest (3) said she wanted to save it for another time in her money box. There's hope yet :rotfl: I'm obviously training them well. Anytime I move anything they seem to ask 'are you selling that?' There's obviously a theme.
Away from a couple of nights rest of week, unlikely to get to post. Will keep the faith0 -
Excellent on your child training
have a great break.

Back from a few days away. Accommodation was cheap and Pre paid and spends were very low, although I'm aware we are lucky that we were treated to food out twice. Have moved money from our small holiday piggy to cover spends.
Spent yesterday sorting the spare room, including boxing up the presents I have already bought for Christmas over the year. Am really pleased with what I have and what I have spent from present piggy. Updated my sheet as there were two presents I'd forgotten about which means 2 less to get. I've just one birthday present left to get for 2016 and 1 for January 17. Ordered 2 things online last night, used c/b.
Requested £6.33 from £co whilst there and moved latest fleabay sale to savings. Found a couple more things for fleabay whilst sorting so will list. Still low level stuff, but it's all adding up, I'm at about £160 I think in the last 2 months. Will try and find a few more that can go as a large letter rather than small parcel.
Going to make some muffins and maybe biscuits/cake, depending on how much butter I have this morning. Would also like to try and make some wraps, I have a recipe saved from a fellow MSE-er which looks good.
Have a big bag of frozen pineapple that I need to find something to do with, maybe pineapple chutney
Once spare room was sorted moved some big item s from DD room so we can start stripping it. Got some of the top layer off just by pulling it yesterday. Will try and get it done today so we can call plasterer and get him to come and look asap.
Back to work/school tomorrow so need to do uniforms/packed lunches later. Will try for a run too, trying to increase my speed to get below 30 minutes for 5k, may do some intervals0 -
All sounding very productive and glad hols were good..
Now back to that skirting:rotfl: and school and work and RL

Ahah, yes, the gift that keeps on giving :rotfl: still not done downstairs, I must message him actually. Plus we've stripped a room upstairs and I'm dying to take that off too, but know it will lead to the landing and where will it stop
Productive weekend all round. Have been on a mission with food this month, spend to date lowest in last 18, so very pleased and used substantial space in freezer freed up for future ys items. Don't expect to spend much else apart from maybe cat food
Also need to contact carpet man and go and hunt out a specialist floor supplier on Thursday for dining room. Will contact second builder too, still on that to do list. In fact I'm off to do that now.0 -
Committing these here really does help. Messaged builder and carpet man last night. Heard back from one of them.
Plasterer came tonight and quoted. Booked him in, no need to faff we've used him before and will again. Need to additional pennies to the pot, when don't IOrdered £10 voucher from survey this am and got £4 on pr0lific tonight, when it clears will hit payout
New duvet and pillows arrived today. Duvet has needed replacing for too long, not quite sure why I put it off so long
Quick blast of heating now for 30 mins before bed whilst doing the washing shuffle on the rads.0
