Hi all.

I signed up 9 years ago, got some great advice and went on my merry way. Since then I've not really had call to come back until I recently finally got into the position where I'm not only about to be debt free but I will have spare cash plus the ability to save each month. Lucky me.

I've had some further great advice and really appreciate it, but I've also had some real snarky comments.. I've got quite a thick skin and will call out if I feel someone is being rude, but I'm sure some other people who are feeling quite sensitive maybe wouldn't take that kind of comment as constructive and it may help them looking for further help.

What's happened to being kind and none judgmental?

Well you appear to be being somewhat judgemental about this site :cool:

As far as I can see, you've taken exception to a single post by a single individual, and now created a whole thread about it, suggesting the whole site has changed.

In fact when I look at the individual who posted some help & advice you came back after 9 years seeking, I see that that particular MSE'er has been a member here for over 10 years (so before you joined) and has appeared to have posted regularly, amassing almost 50,000 posts and gaining almost 40,000 thanks along the way.

Still, if you don't like what was posted, nothing has changed; simply report the user and hope you get the user PPR'd. We really don't need users like that on this site do we? :cool:
