Are calls to Hull discriminated against by anyone?

Hull numbers are non-BT (in the man)

I wouldn't have thought so, NTL and Telewest numbers aren't.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

When I first joined One.Tel's StandardUK Talk plan last year, I e-mailed them and asked specifically whether calls to Channel Islands (01481/01534), Isle of Man (01624), Northern Ireland (028xx) and UK Payphones are free during the weekend. Their reply was that as long as the code begins with 01 or 02, the call would be free.

I know for a fact that this is not the case for BT and TalkTalk but I have not tried ringing any of these numbers using One.Tel.

Is there anyone with One.Tel who has actually rung any of these numbers during the weekend and confirm whether they are actually free or not?

So it costs per min to phone the CI from a BT Landline. 3p peak, 2p offpeak, and 1p at weekends!!!

My apologies. Clearly you have researched the cost of calling these destinations much more than me, though I am slightly at a loss to understand why.

If you remember the old days when BT calls were charged at so many seconds per unit, with calls categoried into local, regional (band a), national (band b) and Channel Islands (band c). Calls to Channel Islands from UK mainland were already a class of its own at the time and I think thats why they are excluded from the free calls (or 5.5p per hour) in the present BT Together Options.

I've only ever called Guernsey about 3 times and didn't look at the bill so apologies again.

I know for a fact that calls to the Channel Islands are included in Telewest unlimited call packages - my friend uses it to call his relatives there.

Or might it be that they all have to go via France?
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

What about calls from UK mobiles (i.e. using inclusive minutes) to CI landlines? I know the situation is different for mobiles (real pain when you are there for a few days and having to use roaming).
