Do you think Tomcat is visiting someone else early morning which is why he's often late in?0
-
I do
Will break OHS heart
I'm worried now no sign0 -
Little sod shot in at 12.15
I think we must have missed each other when I have been looking for him.
His mood was sulky
He usually waits till I get the dogs away
Today nope shot in and caused mayhem.0 -
It may be that someone is feeding him elsewhere so he's in no hurry to come home.0

He eats plenty when he gets back his missus and demands so I don't think it's that.
He's also huge
Coats in really good condition
Has a collar so I hope someone is not feeding him.
Apparently there are some bushes he likes to spend time in.
I think he found people who let him in and he snooze there0 -

I leave the shed open all year round; I don't think a thief would get much return from a few packets of seeds and a fork & shovel after having to learn about which bee species have stings to work out whether it's worth risking in the first place (the garden shed is Bee City), but I am aware that the only choices for straying cats nearby are garages that are scheduled for demolition. I wouldn't want any homeless cats to be caught up in that or to be left cold under hedges. If, of course, there were to be a litter of kittens in there one day, I would naturally be shocked.
Anyhow, it might be that somebody near you either does similar or has a woodshed, lean-to or other such outside shelter.
He might not be trying to get himself adopted, he might just be having a nice kip in between harassing rodents.
And my Idiot Cat often falls asleep in the raspberries for hours on end or vanishes underneath great clouds of Herb Robert in the garden. I'm sure that he hears us, but decides to feign deafness if it suits him.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Yep, tiggers are a law unto themselves, one of the main reasons I love them: No-one can tell them what to do. Even the law, "an !!!" though it be, recognises that, while humans can be held to account for what their dogs do, they cannot be so for the actions of their cats.
So long as everyone is OK and comes home safely, that is all that matters, right?
How are you feeling now, Mellymoo?0 -
