PlusNet transfer disaster

Happily they're now talking and we're assured that everything will be working as it should with our old number on Friday. Thank heavens for that.

I should add that the two months of free broadband in compensation was not applied to our account, and that by some alchemy PlusNet charged us about half again more than the standard tariff, and of course that required yet another phone call to sort things out. Watch them like hawks, folks.

Finally, PlusNet's customer service folks have sorted this out. It's taken some time, some determination and perhaps some luck in finding our way to someone who could help, but we got there.

We're getting the sort of broadband speed we were promised too...

If anyone else is having similar problems with Plusnet I found Plusnet's own support forums to be a much more efficient way of getting results.

If you can get a moderator/staff member on there to look into your case things move much quicker (and helps you avoid waiting 30minutes on hold every day to speak to someone).

As a last resort maybe email the CEO (Google his name) - this was my final straw and it worked for me.
