Electoral roll info not appearing on credit reports

Hi there,
Both noddle (CallCredit) and ClearScore (Equifax) state that I'm not on the electoral roll at my current address. However, I spoke to my local council who confirmed that I have been on the electoral roll at my current address since December 2015.
Any ideas about what I can do to rectify this? Not sure how the credit reference agencies collect the electoral roll data so don't know how to go about fixing this...
Thanks for your help!

You need to contact the credit file agencies and provide evidence (a scan of a letter, or a confirmation email will suffice) of the date you were added to the register and they will sort it.
I had to do the same thing for mine because even though every company in the world and also Royal Mail have my address listed as [redacted]C, the council have it as [redacted]1/2 (the buzzers on our building also have letters, not numbers, so this is the council being, well, the council) so I was showing on my credit report as "not registered" because they couldn't find details for [redacted]C. Once I supplied the info that I've been on the register since x date they realised the address cross-over and rectified it.
You should either have some form of paper evidence (a letter or a polling card!) confirming your addition to the register or, if you applied online, an email confirmation. Or both, even.
Edited to add that you may not even have to supply evidence and just saying you've been on it since December 15 will be enough for them to manually look it up and add it, but it's always best to have anyway.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

It can take 2-3 months for the 3 credit reference agencies to update their records regarding electoral roll info, this time frame increases in a voting year and will usually be updated when the next household enquiry registration letters are sent out (usually around Sept/Oct time).I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
