Shea hand cream 10ml
Divine cream 8ml
Shampoo 30ml

Gorgeous little set. They really do the best freebies.
VALM: there is also a £10 off £25 spend included (for your perfume?)
.
Oh thank you thank you thank you. Am giddy beyond words!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hugs to poorly people. Get well soon.
Welcome to bolloran.
I wish I could get the L'occitane freebies but I would have to go out of my way and can't be bothered really.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi ladies!
OK, update on the Soap and Glory scents. I've just been in Boots and it seems that the 100ml tonic scent bottles have gone, but the full range of body sprays were all there, regular price. Not sure why I got an Orangeasm one last time on £1.50 clearance, 'cos it was there in regular stock!
In the meantime I stocked up on some great Orangeasm sprays via ebay.Elizabeth
Long-term No Buys: print books, make-up, art/craft items
Lost 8 of the 20lbs I need to shed:D0 -

My buying and use up summary for the month coming up:
I bought these:
Plus a shampoo and conditioner for £1 each. I also ordered a Body Shop scrub for half price on e-bay and 5 of my favourite (and long since discontinued) face washes from Boots USA (via a very kind friend over there). As all are stock up on regularly used items and not 'unnecessary toiletries' (except maybe all the Orangeasm scents, which I honestly thought were being dropped from the range altogether and got for bargain prices), there isn't much in the way of INs.
Use ups (that won't be replaced - not worth listing regulars):
2 toothpaste samples that I picked up at the dentist; and
1 lip gloss from a palette you'll see on the May thread when that starts
I think that was it.
PS Can someone explain the use of 'holy grail' in the context of a product one loves and uses all the time, please? I've heard the expression used a lot, but I don't get it. What's the connection between a religious artefact and my face cream??Elizabeth

When I picked up the reduced nail sets from Boots I noticed that the regular priced ones were still on the shelf and was told that if that particular branch is to discontinue selling a particular range they are told to put any surplus stocks in their warehouse on the clearance shelf. Bit weird that they don't put all of that particular product on the shelf I know.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Not sure if this is the official reason but I thought an item was called Holy Grail because the person had been seeking out for eons and had eventually found it! Could be wrong.

OK, VALM, thanks. That would make sense. I always get the idea of HG being something one really doesn't want to stop using - like a dessert island product. Maybe I'm wrong. Often am!!!
The S&G fragrances were on the regular shelves along with the rest of the range, but then I suppose it depends on the branch. I don't recall Boots Leeds or Sheffield having clearance shelves. Anyway, the body sprays are there and I think Orangeasm is set to become a signature scent - once I've finished up the 10 others I have in stock/in progress.
Glad you liked the photo. I thought it was quicker than a list, which I feel only means something to me. I've got another prepared for my current panning items which I plan to post at the beginning of each month here and on my minimalism Instagram to help motivate me.Elizabeth

I have had a bit of a shopping spree today, a couple of things needed for forthcoming holiday and the rest just a treat as I was diagnosed with quite a rare condition which could cause me some serious problems in the future, but that is not guaranteed, all a bit of pot luck really. The good news is that after being poorly for 2+ years, at last I have a diagnosis and know that it is not all in my head, there is a treatment for life available which should help cut the risks considerably and may, if I am lucky improve my day to day health a lot:D:D
INs
250ml Radox handwash 5/27
250ml Radox & Mandarin shower gel 6/27
300ml S&G Orangeasm body butter 7/28
75ml Elnett hair spray 8/29
75ml Sensodyne rapid relief tooth paste 9/30
Rimmel eye pencil white 10/31
Rimmel eye pencil green 11/32
Rimmel eye pencil purple 12/33
I am still awaiting one more delivery, so if it arrives tomorrow will have another 3 items to add to the list:(
I am now deleting all toiletry e-mails as soon as they hit my in-box:jThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
