Can anyone advise whether we do individual claims or one claim for everyone: delayed from 16 hrs to 26hrs.

It may well be best to either do individual claims or groups of a size, that should legal action be required, you keep under the small claims court limit with compensation/court costs etc.
What were your flight details and circumstances? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Flight with Norwegian Air - due to fly at 7:30, told at 8:15 cancelled. Earlier we were told the delay was due to not having a full crew! Actually flew at 23:45 party of 23, and other 12 flew next day at 10:00, had to fly with EasyJet, given hotel and transport at 15:15.0

Presume you have read Vauban's Guide - if not do so first. Was there one lead passenger who booked all 35 flights? Who arranged for the alternative EJ flight and was duty of care provided?0

Where do I find Vauban's Guide?0

Normally via a Google search if necessary however ..... https://www.dropbox.com/s/w6hmpy5ysxpck6k/Vauban's%20Guide%20to%20Claiming%20Flight%20Delay%20Compensation.pdf?dl=00

Read Vauban Guide I think we have a case. Bookings made by someone who did not fly with our party, two bookings one for 30 passengers and second for 5. Would you suggest breaking our claim down into three groups. 1) for 5 passengers 2) for 10 passengers
3) for 10 passengers. I have no contact address for NA only an address in Norway. As they are not in the EU how would be pursue our claim? Any help would be appreciated I have 35 friends who need help!!0 -
Read the Guide I think we have a case. Party booking done by someone who did not travel with us. Appreciate the split claim information and have taken that on board. The alternative flights were with EasyJet and booked by NA staff as was the hotel and transport to and from Malaga airport. Bit concerned now about NA being Norwegian (Norway) not part of the EU do you foresee a problem with this?:j0

No Norway 'signed' up to EU261/2004. There are a number of ways of dealing with this I will PM you as posts are read by the airlines.0

Presume flight was AGP > LGW in which case €400 pp under 261/2004 is due. €14,000 at todays exchange is in excess of £11,000 therefore as I mentioned Norwegian are going to put obstacles in your way and you really need someone to 'front' who is well versed in the law (or can read up about it) as it needs handling correctly.
Even if you do decide to use a NWNF negotiate a sensible rate as to give up over £3,000 (27%) of your claim for repetitive work is criminal.0 -
Had my flight delayed last week while visiting family over Easter. I found this website which calculates how much you are owed, and generates a letter for you with all the relevant contact information. Saved quite a bit of time and it was free. Hope this helps.
