Just wanted to wish you lots of luck on your debt-busting journey - luckily its quite addictive once you gets started lolDebt outstanding [STRIKE]£3491.[/STRIKE] £3303
NSD 10/150 -
So yesterday was not a NSD, ended up speding £4.55 on top of the voucher I had for the sister and £12 on wine (opps).
However on a more positive note decided to take the plunge and not wait for husbands pay and paid the balance on the Barclaycard 1 - so the balance on this is now zero. So the only card that I am now paying interest on is the Santander card. Fingers crossed that with the payment I can make this month and next it should be paid off. Was going to BT this, but though the BT fee would be more than one months interest so didn't transfer the balance in the end up.
So all looking good here - but as pay day has just been things always look rosy in the garden!Debt as of 20-03-2016 £29,626.79

So not had many NSD since last posted, was away for the weekend, it was all budgeted for and didn't overspend so happy enough with that.
Thursday wasn't a NSD as got fuel for car and bought a top for going away (opps)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday weren't NSD as was away - all in budget spends.
Monday was a NSD - so that makes 15/15 for the month., So hit my target for the month - hoping to get a few more before the end of the calendar month.
have added some spends to the b'card - but this is budget spends so will transfer the money over to pay it off once OH is paid my aim is to have this sitting at zero come pay day again.

So not too much to updated on the money side of things, OH gets paid tomorrow so will be able to clear the b'card again tomorrow and also hoping to make an additional payment of £50 towards the Santander card this week. Once I make that that will be the overpayments for the month.
The aim then in to make sure that all budgets are stuck too and that there is no additional spending on ODs or CCs. Lets hope I have the determination to do this. Hoping that by rambling on here every day (or days days, which is more often the case) it will allow me to keep the spending in check.
On a good note - NSD yesterday - brings the total for the month to 16.
Today will not be a NSD as have little food in the freezer and ran out of milk this morning. So look like a shop on the way home. Pity I didn't check what is in the freezer before leaving home to see what I could make out of what is there! OH well, we live and learn! Need to meal plan to stop this happening again.
Hope everyone has a good WednesdayDebt as of 20-03-2016 £29,626.79

So was just looking and started this diary on the 31st march and since that time I have reduced overall debt by £869.57 - probably not as much as I would have liked to have aimed for - but more than I would have reduced it by had I not started this journey, so going to look on that as a positive as had BT fees added to the balance this month too.Debt as of 20-03-2016 £29,626.79

Doesn't time fly.
Didn't realise how long it had been since I posted on here, so this is going to stretch the old grey matter to summarise what has happened since then!
So the 27 April - wasn't a NSD as needed some food
28 April - wasn't a NSD either, probably could have been one but I do expect there will be some slip ups on this journey
29 April/30 April where both NSD - bringing the total for the month to 18. Not too bad.
So May is here, going to be hard to keep going but I am determined.
Target of NSDs for the month of May will be 16 (one more than my target for last month)
So didn't start too well. 1st May, realised that the insurance on one of the cars was up for renewal that day opps, not very organised. The 2nd car is up on the 5th June, so decided to do individual quotes for both cars and got a joint price of £850, decided to try a multi car policy and got this for £630 not too bad. Only problem now was that I hadn't got the savings for it, so paid on a credit card and done BT to a different card, so only paid 3% fee instead of monthly payments at 20% interest - also went through a cash back site and got £60 Cash back.
As I was renewing this insurance also remembered that home insurance had expired a while back and I didn't renew - so got on the case and got both the buildings and contents insurance for £15 a month.
Then decided to look at life insurance - got a joint policy for £30 a month - don't think this was too bad as husband had hospital admissions in past year.
So the 1st May wasn't a NSD but was productive.
The 2nd May - needed wrapping paper so wasn't a NSD either
Back to work on the 3rd May and managed a NSD - so that makes 1/15 for the month.
Decided that I shouldn't leave as long to post again as I have bored myself with the ramblings, never mind anyone who might stumble upon this!
On the overall debt point, it has increased and currently sits at £29128.21 There are still a few DD payments to go out this month, so hoping that this figure will end the month in the £28000 bracket. Fingers crossed.Debt as of 20-03-2016 £29,626.79
