    Sorry, but they are holes in the house, by definition. Ventilation is complicated.

    And the OP hasn't confirmed it's for underfloor ventilation yet.

    Sorry, yes, it's to ventilate the underfloor. The guy that wanted 3 hadn't seen the underfloor area so hadn't counted the air brick in the kitchen wall, whereas the original guy knew that the wall between kitchen and diner was itself ventilated so felt that 3 more was ott.

    With any easier option there is always a cost and given this is MSE the cheapest option is normally the best. Hiring or buying gear you don't have, will never be used again is not the way to save money:grouphug:
