Good for you!
It's quite funny as i work for an accountancy firm. We bill insurance companies or the patient direct for what the dr charges.
Onr woman hss a large bill, standard price but she obviously cannot afford to pay it. She is avoiding the company's phone calls for payment but is making small payments when she can.
I was trying to stick up for her saying obviously she can't afford to self pay, has no insurance, so is paying her bill with small payments whenever she can afford it.
They weren't impressed, lol. I can understand from the firm's point of view. The admin probably costs more long run to sort out account. But fairplay to the patient, she isn't defaulting, just trying to pay what she can manage.
I'd be the same as you, the way I look at it is it's better than nothing and if someone is making small payments they are obviously trying and not just ignoring the problem.
Back when i was in a much worse situation and had a lot of debt collectors on my back there was one debt collecting agency that I actually thought were fab. I can't remember what they were called now but they were so understanding and that made me much more willing to pay them as they were being nice, they had a website where you could just log on and pay a £1 at a time if you wanted with no fees or anything silly. The horrible ones who tried demanding payments I couldn't afford were the last to be paid.
I don't really understand the admin side of it I assumed it would be mostly computerised as I paid on their website but I guess it would be annoying if each payment had to be manually recorded etc.Total Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

I had an overpayment sorted out from some rule about that before but it was years ago and can't remember too much of the details...just might be worth checking
Well originally I had a bill for £650 ish which I contested and they ruled that I didn't owe it. Then I got this bill for £182.30. I wrote a letter asking why I owe this as I had had the letter writing off my debt. I got a response saying they wiped off part of the debt but I still owe for the last couple of weeks I was in that house. I did sort of accept it and then last night I was looking at the paperwork and realised they hadn't actually given me a reason I still owe this bit. So I am going to write another letter asking why I owe the £182.30 (well £180 now lol). They are driving me up the wall though I moved out of Neath in July 2015 and am still dealing with them.Total Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

I've submitted my tax return and claimed back £24 in overpaid tax. Also done a Prolific study for £2.10.
It wasn't AA I had a problem with mystery shopping yesterday, it was a company I've never had any issues with before, which is why I was so disappointed. Anyhow I've complained and they don't seem to care, so crossing them off my list. I crossed AA off years ago, as they are not pleasant to deal with.
Now you are showing off submitting your Tax return already, mine is on the top of my to do list. xTotal Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

Yes, even though payments made on computer, credit control manually update the cashbook ans accounts to move money into correct account and to balance books. So with this lady they have an outstanding balance that they are having to update more than once with each payment. So is costing more in manpower than fee paid by dr. But when you hear about bad debt writtem off amounts. This is nothing and at least she is paying instead of doing a runner.0 -
Sorry for spamming the page I should have put my earnings in one of my other posts oopsi.
Just got EUR7.02 from clickworker but they haven't paid my EUR4.50 bonus so I have emailed them to ask why. After fees and conversion that is £5.40.
I have also claimed a £5 pinecone prepaid mastercard. I don't know why I couldn't claim £6 as I had 600 points. Last time I just got a £12 one but it would only let me do increments of £5 this time I think I must have done something wrong but at least there is 100 points left in there towards my next one.
So my new total is £194.39 xTotal Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

I've little to report here, although my response to a small question from someone on a Facebook group has led to me acquiring 28 referrals on one site. Fingers crossed that some of them actually stick with it.
How you continue to function on no sleep is mindboggling!
28 referrals! That is jammy!! Referrals is not my forte!
I'm still plodding. Has everyone seen the imminent changeson luckyphone - that should be a boost. I'm still trying to cashout on there for the first time. Maybe with points for getting no numbers I might have a chance!!Make £520 a year in 2020 so far (£0 cash £0 AGC)

I don't really understand what the difference between the new game and the old games are but it looks good anyway. The new points system looks very promising. Let's see how it goes I am only £1.20 away from cashing out my first as well x
