Fourth Anniversary 100 Posts Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver!
I have have been clearing through my 'stuff' over the weekend and organising what needs to go and what needs to stay.

I have wrote a weekly plan on what I am going to sell this coming week, where I am going to sell it and for how much! The plan is to post one item a day on all the Facebook selling groups, I can do this while having a cup of tea at work before I start each morning :T

I am going to try my best to post 4 items on eBay over the course of the week, my selling limit is still 5 so I need as much good feedback as I can so I can eventually boost my limit.

I have arranged to help a friend on Tuesday evening for £10, this may become a regular thing too :j:j:j I'm off to nandos now for some din dins :D

Urgh, who can be bothered with ebay??? I have 8 items listed and I'm losing the will to live  I'll be happy if (and when :D) some of them sell, but the listing? Time for coffee and a piece of chocolate I think....

Jeez Becks, major cyber hug coming your way :grouphug: How awful!

I had a look at renewing my car insurance and it's jumped from £185 last year to over £600 this year  The issue is where I park at night. I moved house and no longer park outside. I either park it in a car park or on the road away from house. My pattern is a bit odd. Some nights it's in a work car park, some it's in the car park at home (a public car park that's a minute walk) and some it's parked on the street. What do people with parking permits do? They can park on any permitted street so not actually outside their house. And what is a secure car park (as opposed to an unsecure car park)? I don't particularly want to call them to ask because there's cashback for buying via Topcashback and any 'human intervention' will probably make the cashback decline. On the other hand, I have no idea what to answer for the question about where my car is parked at night. Suggestions please....

Otherwise I have no extra money coming in to declare...nor any extra outgoings for that matter :money:

Our road is permit holders between certainhours and we pay for our permits. But because our road has virtually no driveways, everyone parks on our road. Some evenings ee can'tpark outside our own home. I still put it down as street parking in my own street as that is ideally where i want mycar, outside my house.

Secure car park is one that isbudually locked at night, sometime has camerasand security guard.

A public one that anyone can access at any time is unsecure

    Hello all,

Apologies for going awol. Money-making has unfortunately had to go on the back burner for me the last 2 weeks. They say things happen in threes so hopefully I'm through it all.

This is what I have been challenged with- in the last 2 weeks, DH has lost his job, I got run off by the road by someone not giving way on a single track road, and ended up with a puncture, and my cat has been to the vets with a suspected fractured pelvis. Some nasty piece of work decided to kick by cat up the backside :(

Things seem to be settling down now, DH has several interviews lined up, car is fixed and back on the road, and the cat hopefully is on the mend.

So all in all, I'm been losing the money not making it! But am back to start things off with a small sale on ebay. There is no way on earth I will manage £5 a day - but it all helps.

Off to catch up now with how everyone else is doing.

    (sorry for waffling on!!)

So sorry to hear about so many bad things at the same time. Pleased you are ok and thst cat is recovering and DH has interviews. Good luck to DH. Xx

Hi, I haven't been on much this week, as I am currently down with the flu.

On a positive note I am currently at £261.78

    Brand match £7
    Writing work £47.35
    M.shopping £69
    Holiday let cleaning £125.43
    Pcone Surveys £3
    Scan shopping £10

I am in shock at how much I have made already this month especially with me feeling so tired at the moment.

I have decided to give myself a small plan for each day and to check in here daily. My plan for Monday is to check through emails and complete any available surveys.

Please can I ask how long people tend to spend on the challenge per day?

Thanks Aesop, that car park definition helps...although two nights a week it's in a secure car park, the other nights it's either in an unsecure car park or on the street. And the street is not my street, or even the next one. It's parked a bit further away when I'm being :money:and not wanting to pay for the car park. They say to put down the place used most often. Ha ha, back to square one with the dilemma! May play about and see which gives the best price!
  • I just typed a whole post then accidently clicked the back button and lost is :/

Becks81 what an awful week, I hope things get better for you soon. There are really some horrid people in the world.

I was meant to be going to a concert tonight but am still too ill so I sold the tickets for £25 I am going to count it as they would have just sat unused.

I haven't done great with the earning this month as I have just had no energy at all, I have been off work for a week. I have to go back on Tuesday I had tomorrow booked off as annual leave anyway luckily. I so don't feel ready to go back :(

I have made about £6 on clickworker which is cool as I have been on there for ages but never used it. I have also done my first article on textbroker for £1.70 but I won't count either until I cash them out.

    New total £54.46
    Total Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)
    Earn £10 a day 2015 - £878.91 2016 - £3932.18
    2017 - £1686.24 - 2018 - £272.37
    March 2019 - £120.99
    April 2019 - £0/£300

Uoch ! - Why are you limited to 5 ? - do you know ?

I'd try talking to one of the "Advisors" if I were you - see if you can get the "limit" raised !
