I'm just going to have lunch and then get at least another ten items on eBay. I had hoped to get the last items on by this weekend, but it is going to have to be by the end of April, as I have no motivation for it today.

Sold an item last night. Will work out what I have made tonight, if I get my self-assessment completed!

Well, in my case, by not having a life :rotfl:

That said I'm a multitasker so I just do them whilst watching TV.

£3 for 2 vinyls on fleabay. Sales are really slow now, think I'm getting down to the dregs that nobody wants- although I still have 109 things listed  That's 147/366 items sold this year.

    Hello all,

Apologies for going awol. Money-making has unfortunately had to go on the back burner for me the last 2 weeks. They say things happen in threes so hopefully I'm through it all.

This is what I have been challenged with- in the last 2 weeks, DH has lost his job, I got run off by the road by someone not giving way on a single track road, and ended up with a puncture, and my cat has been to the vets with a suspected fractured pelvis. Some nasty piece of work decided to kick by cat up the backside :(

Things seem to be settling down now, DH has several interviews lined up, car is fixed and back on the road, and the cat hopefully is on the mend.

So all in all, I'm been losing the money not making it! But am back to start things off with a small sale on ebay. There is no way on earth I will manage £5 a day - but it all helps.

Off to catch up now with how everyone else is doing.

    (sorry for waffling on!!)

    Well done, P_M, that's a great result:T

Strangely, I'm thinking of switching from BT to PlusNet( which I believe is also a BT company;)) because it will be cheaper! Their customer service is rated higher as well. BT's has been dire:eek: over the many years that I've been with them although their broadband connection has been very reliable.

Would be interested to know if you did it mainly on cost and cashback or whether you've had bad experiences or reliability issues with PN. Please ignore me if you think I'm being nosy:)
  • Plusnet have been great! No problems at all. Bit anxious about moving tbh! :0

Fair play Becks, that is a real sh**ter of a fortnight! Really hope things improve for you all now and you can get things back to some form of 'normal'! Good thoughts...:grouphug:

Urgh, who can be bothered with ebay??? I have 8 items listed and I'm losing the will to live  I'll be happy if (and when :D) some of them sell, but the listing? Time for coffee and a piece of chocolate I think....

Jeez Becks, major cyber hug coming your way :grouphug: How awful!

I had a look at renewing my car insurance and it's jumped from £185 last year to over £600 this year  The issue is where I park at night. I moved house and no longer park outside. I either park it in a car park or on the road away from house. My pattern is a bit odd. Some nights it's in a work car park, some it's in the car park at home (a public car park that's a minute walk) and some it's parked on the street. What do people with parking permits do? They can park on any permitted street so not actually outside their house. And what is a secure car park (as opposed to an unsecure car park)? I don't particularly want to call them to ask because there's cashback for buying via Topcashback and any 'human intervention' will probably make the cashback decline. On the other hand, I have no idea what to answer for the question about where my car is parked at night. Suggestions please....

Otherwise I have no extra money coming in to declare...nor any extra outgoings for that matter :money:
