Santander Retailer Offers

It doesn't cost anything to have the Retailer Offers switched on. So I'd turn it on straight away and see what happens.

I get offers from all sorts of places I have never shopped with, and I also haven't shopped with their competitors. I shop a lot at Waitrose and usually get a couple of Waitrose offers a year. I nearly never shop at Morrisons but get their offers all the time. It seems very random what you get offered.

The offers also regularly vanish from view altogether even though they actually exist. They have gone again right now.

The offers do seem to be random and individual. I don't recall ever seeing a Morrison's offer, for instance. Most of the offers I see are for places that I'll never use but I check regularly and Emirates & Qatar airways both appeared recently. As it happened, Emirates were the cheapest option on the route that I'm flying so it was a no brainier.

The offers regularly disappear from the website but in my experience they're always on the iOS app.

The last time I looked there were 8 offers for me, half with companies I've never heard of & half with companies I've heard of but wouldn't use.

I hope they won't be 'individual' because, as I don't use Santander debit card, and don't have their credit card, I assume they won't know where I spend my money. Or will they?:eek: :rotfl:
