Selling through House Network

A couple of questions please re. House Network.
We're interested in selling our house through them when the time comes, but having read through their three payment options, I'm not at all clear as to the difference between the two options of 'pay £699 upfront' and 'pay £699 on completion.' (We wouldn't be interested in the third, most expensive option.)
My questions are:
1) Is there any advantage in paying the fee upfront, seeing as the costs are the same - or is there a time limit/ extra fee involved if you choose to pay on completion?
2) Has anyone used their conveyancing service and if so, were you happy with it?
Many thanks

I haven't used them, but would expect there to be more incentive for them to work for their fee if you are not paying them upfront.

We got a 10% discount for paying upfront. They were incredibly efficient even though they had already been paid.
Didn't use their conveyancing service but our buyer did. Offer to Completion in 4 and a half weeks.

Can't praise house network highly enough they were brilliant !

    From their website:
Pay Upfront £699 inc VAT Pay Upfront Package: A single upfront fee of £699 incl VAT. That’s all you’ll ever pay.
Pay Later £699 inc VAT Pay Later Package: You agree to pay a fixed fee of £699 on completion of your sale or after 12 months, whichever happens first. Buy Now - Pay Later!

The 10% discount is an Easter promotion only.

Yes, that was what I saw on their site, but that's exactly what I don't understand unless I'm missing something. Irrespective of any promotions/discounts currently running, I'm wondering why they are offering two separate options - one pay upfront and the other pay later - with apparently identical features at the same cost? You'd think they would either be offering extra features / charging less for paying upfront, or conversely offering fewer features / charging a bit more for those choosing to delay payment?
Or is it that there is no 12 month limit for those paying upfront?
  • We are on with house network.

They have brought us the same number of viewers as the local agent we used previously.

    Zero.

Actually the website is easy to use and you have control over your photos and whatnot.

No viewers = overpriced unless the market is very slow in your area. Unless I'm mistaken it reads as though House Network get their fee whether they achieve a sale or not.

They also have a more expensive option which is no sale no fee.

What an odd pricing structure - don't understand why anyone would pay up front if it cost them nothing to defer to later.

    Exactly my point.

Not that odd, the 10% off if you pay in advance seems to be an offer they run a fair bit.

They were a million times better than the local idiots we previously used. We got more viewings through house network in 2 weeks than in 3 months with the local idiots.
