    Normally this would be the best advice but I'm not sure how it plays out with the item having not actually been paid for?!

    Totally agree Theonlywayisup.

    My son has ASD as do I. He often feels that he can't communicate. Obviously I have the same problem. Lets call it an ironic joke at a time I was feeling rather small after being called incoherent when I still can't see anything unclear in what I wrote (although it was a long post)! No worries. Times like that mean you learn what your limitations are and what you shouldn't do when too close to something, such is life.

    I looked before but wasn't looking with the right search terms, finally found this which makes it very very clear

    I have forwarded this to ebay, and the seller, and told both (yesterday) that the goods are available for pick up at any time (glad to get rid of the raptor after all this) or I will return when postage costs are sent to me.

    I just wanted to put this on the forum in case other people have problems getting return postage paid for defective goods like I have. It helps to know for sure statute supports this, and to be able to send this to ebay. I feel like I am on a firmer footing refusing to pay for return of the goods myself now. I didn't want to get into worse problems. Been stressing over this for a couple of weeks.

    eBay will supply a prepaid label for returns of faulty items, but, and this is the important bit, the buyer actually needs to have paid for the item first.

    Your situation is different because you aren't able to open a case for a return because you haven't paid. Therefore eBay's process can't help you. As you haven't paid, you in effect haven't bought anything (according to eBay).

    Unfortunately you've made more of this problem than actually exists. Just wait to hear from the seller, if they want it back they will pay.

    I understand why from your point of view you feel I have made too much of it. Seller has now emailed saying I am a thief lol. But I shan't post on here anymore. Not out of rudeness.., just because I can understand why you have made the above comment. Apologies again.

    I have actually just closed up another thread and will not post on here again. I am not right for here, or probably anywhere lol.
