Been on the market since November. One viewing only. Changed agents and cut the original selling price by 5k then 10k then another 10.

Similar houses going under offer in our street. So frustrating.

Went on the market with an open day planned for a week later. Funnelled all interest to the open day. Sold it at the open day (well, the Monday following), £10K above asking.
  • Just an update - ours went on Rightmove Monday evening and we had an asking price offer this afternoon that we will likely accept.

I guess that is fast though? We're in a high demand area with a high demand house type!

My advice is to go on rightmove put in all the criteria for your house, tik under offer, change to most recent and see how quickly others of your type, price, and area are going to sold. Doing this in our area for our house type the solds start appearing in those coming to market 1/3.
