Did you try the numbers on the back of your card?0

Trouble is I forgot PIN and now locked out of reader and account and online
You do not need a PIN to log in.
To order a PIN: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/troubleshooting/order-a-new-pin-or-pin-reminder
If you have forgotten all your login details, go into Branch, taking proof of ID with you.0 -
This needs clarifying as despite being a customer for 15 years I didn't realise this for some time after pinsentry was introduced. You do not need a PIN to log in.
It's a blue "Log in using memorable data" button on the right side of the second screen after you enter your customer number.0 -

options 2 >> 1 >> card number
The only problem is that they are 'busy' ATM and you have to wait in a queue.0 -

Thanks
Definitely missed that "Log in with memorable data" option over on teh right of that screen !
That method looked promising..... until it locked me out too
claimed problem with my memorable data - though have it copied and pasted from screen when I originally entered that data
Trying the 0800 number next0 -
gets me to the same old auto menu0800302011
options 2 >> 1 >> card number
The only 2 PIN options are
1. an PIN reminder
but I know what my PIN is but I'm locked out of card reader after 3 bad tries
2. a new Pass Number
@ Grumbler : you said they were busy ATM - sort of implies you thought you were about to get thru to a person - is that what you thought
maybe I tried too late0 -
Their customer service are open 24/7 and if you listen to the Options there is Always an option to talk to a person. You should have your account number to hand.0

Yes, it was a usual queue to speak to the CS.bob_a_builder wrote: »@ Grumbler : you said they were busy ATM - sort of implies you thought you were about to get thru to a person - is that what you thought0 -
Finally got thru
Apparently if you still know your PIN but have locked yourself out of card reader by using the wrong one, You can reset your PIN at an Nationwide ATM. via its PIN services menu
Off to try that0
