I submitted a claim for flight delay with US Airways (via Resolver) about 6 months ago and have so far had no response. As they have now been taken over by American Airlines should I resubmit my claim to American?

Well you might try. The company are using the 'don't respond and it will go away' tactic, so far successfully in your case. Read Vauban's guide, work out if you have a claim, and if you think you do then it's NBA letter followed by nwnf or MCOL (all these acronyms will make sense once you have read the guide). Maybe use a nwnf website to check your claim.0
