The red lacquer sole has started to mark, I accepted that as wear and tear. But it's the fact that the whole sole is starting to lift off, not just the lacquer!
Interesting that the website doesn't state not to walk on a normal pavement with them or walk in them in the rain!
protect Your leather good from rain and moisture;
avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.
could cover wearing in the rain and walking on the pavement0 -
I have never heard anything so ridiculous (well, not for a long time anyway) - shoes that shouldn't be worn outside? Are they for real?
Some of these so-called 'designers' are just making fools of, and getting rich at the expense of people who fall for the whole label nonsense.
I hope you get some satisfaction OP but it does seem doubtful.0 -
Having just joined this forum can I ask what your outcome was with Louboutin as I have had a similar experience. Thanks0

Perhaps if you were to detail your problem in a new thread someone can help you with your issue.0 -
The irony is that a pair of £5 pumps would probably last longer and would be refunded if they fell apart after 3 hours. I agree that the whole "designer" thing is just a way of getting people with more money than they really need to part with it on poor value merchandise.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

This is the Consumer Rights board and a buyer's rights are the same whether they spend £5 or £500 on a pair of shoes(with some minor caveats).
If someone can afford to purchase something then what's the problem and why the need to pass comment? Unless it's jealousy because you don't have the same disposable income.0 -
I did get an outcome on my shoes. The store refused to do anything but send them away to get repaired at my expense. I contacted Citizens Advice, who suggested that I contact my credit card company and apply for a Section 75 claim. After going ahead with a Section 75 claim the credit card company paid for the repair of the shoes by the Louboutin cobblers. Think the cost was around £50 to repair the red soles and heels.
I should add, after the repair I have managed to wear the shoes on several occasions without any further issues.0
