Esa permitted work

Why is he working 3 hours a day only? Stating a business in your 60s and only putting a few hours a day is unlikely to support a growing business.
You do need to consider you coming off ESA. If you do, you both will have to work a total 30 hours to be eligible for tax credits.
That's not correct, those over 60 only need to work 16hrs per week to claim WTC.
Even if under 60, only one would be required to work 30hrs, not both.
However as op as only said the 3 hrs per day we have no way of knowing if he qualifies as weekly hours are needed.0 -
My husband has work potentially waiting for him but is due to have an op that will mean he will struggle to do much work for 6 weeks post op. So, it is on the back burner until after his post op recovery. We both have separate businesses but are able to refer between businesses so mine can benefit his and vice versa.0

I am considering coming off ESA. That is why I've posted my query. I would dearly love to be able to work a minimum of 30 hrs if my damn body would let me! The work I am doing as permitted work, I love. I also put my all into it. It is very frustrating to be limited.0
