life is quite crap at the minute me and my other half are having major issues with our neighbours. We have had 2-3 weeks of parties and dance music too deal with some of you may of seen my posts on another section of the forum.
We are in a hard situation too deal with as we owe 70200 on our mortgage between me and my partner we have debts of 25000-30000. My house we in hindsight should never of bought we bought an ex council house and it is put together so badly. It has finlock re gutters that need replacing i dont know if anyone has experience of those i wish i didnt.
We need too spend around 5000 on this place before we could sell it.
Re my house theres positives and negatives which i am trying too make sense of too try and stay sane.
Positives are:
1)We are both working, i work full time, my partner is a youth worker and has 3 part time jobs
2) I work 4 on 3 off so plenty of days too graft on this place
3) My dad has offered every other Sunday too come help.
4) I have paid off around 13000 of my mortgage i am overpaying very slightly on it.
5) other positives i have a 35 quid cheque coming from virgin east trains delay repay thing, i sold two books on ebay 9 quid in the bank.
Negatives
1) Our house is in a ruff area, but it could be sold too an investor re rental market.
2) We live next too a family with 5 kids, and she is the female version of the chavs from little britain he works but lets his kids get away with murder
3) falling apart house.
4) my house is worse less than what we paid for it.debts 16550

A no spend day today and another few pence came in off top cash back. Every little helps and all that.
Today has being spent all day doing diy I will get out of her before I am 40 if it kills me. I wish it would rain buckets! The neighbours are doing my head in again from 4pm charva dance music blasting and I can hear it in every room in my house. I don't know what too do if we go too the council it will probably huff them and it will get worse. It seems the minute it's warm patio doors go open and music is blasted from there kitchendebts 16550

I can't sleep so here's my state of finances all my debts are with CCCS, I am doing quite well
with surveys and cash back this month so I am going too cull one or two of the smaller debts on my plan. The way I see it the sooner there gone the sooner they show as settled on my credit file. That and it may knock a month or two off my plan.

Hey Huskyrunner,
I've just started a diary so thought is have a read of a couple. Sounds like your off to a positive start. The work bonuses sound fab. They will really help you shift your debt.
Re the neighbours are they council tenants or do they own the property? Either way I'd complain. They will receive an anonymous letter....unless your their only neighbours for miles they'll never know it's you. It may make them turn it down...it may make them turn it up...but you'll be on the right way to getting it stopped.
Best go the boy is waking up. I'll check back when I can.

They are council tennants yes it's really doing my head in as it's like everyday now I can't sit and watch Tv in my lounge most days as they have music blasting in there kitchen which backs onto our lounge. I work 4 on 3 off which makes it worse as I have 3 days at home but it's annoying the hell out of me.debts 16550

Took some positive steps today after arguments with my other half, my other half seems on a totally different wave length too me. My OH was brought up in the town we live in she is quite content too stay here basically in part as she works during the day and doesnt experience daily the racket i do. Plus her family are literally five mins away.
Today i have registered on kensington mortgages site they took over our mortgage provider from ge money two months back. The sites quite good it has
what i owe, term remaining etc etc its a bit better being honest than i expected and i will have too query this but i think they must have me on a lower interest rate.
The interest from febuary on my mortgage was 251.50 this month its 242.79 never a bad thing lol. Just updated my signature what i owe.debts 16550
