Gave EE 30 days notice, forgot to ask for PAC, do I now need to give another 30 days?
Hi all, I wrote to EE giving them 30 days notice to end my mobile account, which was accepted no problems (account will close on 1st April).
I forgot about the PAC at the time, now I've decided to keep my number, so I called up yesterday and was told I have to give another 30 days notice i.e. cancel on 23/04/15 (and pay for another 23 days).
Does this sound right? I've called up EE about three times and can't get a straight answer.
Thanks, Dave.

In practice, getting a PAC voids any notice given earlier.
However, the T&C usually say nothing about this. So, if you port the number out before 1/04 and they charge you for 2/04 - 23/04 you can argue and demand the money back.
However, do your calculations carefully as you pay the monthly bills in advance and the billing month can differ from the last month of your contract.0
