DRP Response - Now What?

Hi,
So I have just received probably the 4th letter from DRP, after the 3rd I responded and pretty much told them the usual about harassment etc etc....one of the standard letters on this forum.
So they have come back today saying i still need to pay the sum of £160 because my letter was not good enough basically, they have stated a list of responses in terms of my findings, internet templates, harassment, legal basis and a few sections on what I need to do next....
Now I'm not quite sure what to do now as they have stated about court action if i do not pay by the first week of next month.
I have read the newbies and numourous amounts of other threads but not come across one on a response to a letter I have sent.
Any advice as to what I should do now would be great.
Thanks a lot guys

DR+ CANNOT take you to court , only the original parking co or a solicitor working for them. the moment it is handed back to the parking Co , DR+ get NOTHING,
they will not recommend court action

You're nearing the end of the litter trail .ignore anything other than a letter before action ( from the PPC or their solicitors ) or a court claim0 -
ps: zzps will try begging for a lower number soon (same company - different letter headed paper)

what would be the procedure if it does come to that stage where i get letter before action or a court claim, then would I have to pay? Could i eventually be worse off in terms of the court fees etc?0 -

You come back here for more help. This however is extremely unlikely.
UKPC are scammers who were recently caught doctoring time stamps on photo' "evidence".
Take the advice from everyone here and from the NEWBIES thread and start ignoring now.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

No you only 'have' to pay if they take you to court and win and the judgment then tells you to pay. UKPC mostly choose multi ticket cases where the stakes are higher - even then, the claims are not the most professional and are certainly defendable.
The typical amount a person might 'have to' pay for one PCN from a firm other than ParkingEye, if they lost at a court hearing, would be around £120 - £170. Unless you are unreasonable (and defending a claim would not be unreasonable) no legal fees are allowed to be added and the £160 being demanded right now includes 'debt collector' costs that were not part of the 'contract' so should not have been added/could be objected to in a defence.
Basically, in the unlikely event of losing in court, you would be no worse off than the same sort of sum being pursued now because the amount would be very similar.
The difference now is, you would be a total mug if you fold and pay DRP! Almost everyone who is a long-term poster here, has had these letters in the past; I have my own collection fully ignored and they fizzled out after a year.

Google each letter, pick out a phrase and you'll find the letter discussed thousands of times.
NO UPDATES OF EACH LETTER, PRETTY PLEASE!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok so now I have ignored all the DRP letters taking the advice of my fellow members and today I get a letter from a company called SCS saying if I do not pay within the next 14days they will be taking me to court. It says its a letter before a claim for the purpose of the practise direction on pre-action conduct.....no idea what that means.
Now what do I do?? getting slightly worried now....0
