Cleaning Chef Whites?

Glad you got it sorted. Bleach isn't recommended for clothes as it weakens the fabric and can actually yellow whites over time.
I always used the Oxy spray (powder and gel were useless) over the stains and then regular boil wash. My mum does the same and has had her whites for years. She can almost guarantee to be covered in tomatoes EVERY time she opens a tin but has never struggled to clean her whites. While at work she does buttons up on the other side when serving as it looks clean then.
If this is going to be a recurring situation perhaps your son needs those disposable aprons? Turmeric has to be one of the worst stains to remove.0
