If you have a POP you won't get charged the £14. If you have a business account, no POP but good standing, ring and they will refund it.0 -

Ive had a look and all 4 buyers had 0 feedback so I've changed my preferences so no buyer with under 5 feedback can bid will see if this makes a difference thanks for all the replies.
I've now also got a returns request from a buyer for an pair of jeans that doesn't fit as she's too fat her words not mine.
Your fat buyer, doesn't give you a defect unless you refuse to deal with her return.0 -

Can you do this? In my preference, I am only allowed to block "-1" or lower. Not much of use any way, as buyer won't get -ve feedback.0 -
You can block bidders who do not have a card on file then you can apply the block only to people who have a feedback score of 0 - 5
I chose 5 I may lower it in the future,0 -

To be fair to Paypal they've always been good at refunding the £14 fee. 1 of the buyers seems genuine so I was hoping they'd sort the situation out with the bank but as PP agreed to cover the fees I just refunded and sent invoices for new payments. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Just spoke to paypal about the latest case and they have closed it for me and not deducted the 99p .
I understand about the pop but for 99p its not really worth standing in a queue for 10 minutes.
Just 1 quick question I have accepted the the returns request for the jeans that didn't fit what happens if they aren't returned ?
Unsure why someone would pay £2.80 to return an item they paid £4 for I would just sell them on myself as I have done in the past with items I have purchased that didn't fit.0 -

If they've opened a returns request they will have to pay if they selected "does not fit". eBay will give them a label and the buyer will pay.
If they aren't returned, nothing will happen. There is no defect unless the seller doesn't resolve the case.0 -
Just to note the return can stay open a for a loooong time, we have one a customer opened on the 1st of Jan, no return and still hasn't closed yet.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

Ive had 2 this year both had an end date of about 14 days after opening. I refunded one when item was returned, the other person never returned their item and eBay closed it for me on day 14.(from memory)
Mine were straight returns with buyer paying return costs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
