I had a similar problem when I had no wifi when I moved into my new home a while back. I had to buy a dongle. I bought it from O2 and bought time on it (a bit like PAYG).
Check about signals first to make sure that where you are staying can get a wifi signal from whoever you buy the dongle from.0 -
You need something like this https://www.broadbandgenie.co.uk/mobilebroadband/mobile-wifi
If you are only going to use it a couple of times a year get a PAYG deal. There are plenty of cheap ones around if you look hard enough.
The most important thing is to ensure your provider can get a signal to your caravan. Ask on the site which signal is the strongest and buy accordingly.0 -
Or install inSSIDer which will tell you of all local signals even when you're not on the internet, their strength and channels http://www.inssider.com/downloads/ It's free.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

That's only any use if any of the wifi networks are open, or you want to spend time cracking the wifi passwords.0

But it's good to know which channels have the highest speeds and which ones are clogged up too so you can change channels.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

but they dont actually have wifi, so they cant change channels anyways.
mobile broadband is not the same as wifi0 -
The site we have a static van on provides site wide WiFi. Admittedly not the fastest, but, enough for most general uses.
Might be worth checking for such sites before setting off. Otherwise, mobile-WiFi would be the way to go.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

On a lot of phones you can tether the laptop to your phone, or set the phone to become a wifi hotspot. This does use your phone's data allowance though.
As an aside, I must be a real old dinosaur. When I go on holiday half the enjoyment is getting away from technology, switching off and totally relaxing.:)0 -
Have a look at GiffGaff. Sim only, unlimited minutes, text and data for £20. You'd have to find out if you can tether it though.0
