Switching from Plusnet to EE

(That said, we changed to BT and are not hugely impressed with them so far... I'm starting to think maybe they are all equally awful.)
I would suspect a problem if you have poor connection with two suppliers .
Not if they are two of the suppliers who invariably come near the bottom of the pile in every consumer survey conducted. TT are in the same category. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thought BT controls most TeleComms these days, due to Government/ Market intervention.0

No, BT controlled the entire market before deregulation, with the sole exception of Hull, where the local authority had it's own monopoly.
BT's only monopoly now is it's ownership of Openreach. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I manage the accounts for two ISP's at family properties and regularly switch between EE and PlusNet. When I tried a retention deal at PlusNet for one location last year they were not able to match. This was largely due to the differential because of cashback. So I went with EE. I've just moved that service back to PlusNet on another cashback deal.
The EE contract for the other location is coming up soon, so I'll be looking out for a deal to move back to PlusNet.
EE is not too bad in my experience in terms of the Internet service though I find PlusNet performance slightly better. EE tried a retention deal but could not bridge the gap due to cashback. I paid line rental up front with both.0 -

If you don,t mind me asking but what notice did you give EE to move to Plusnet?
Conflicting advice on the EE forum as to letting the 12 month contract expire then move or time it 14 days before the 12 month term expires.0 -
Has anyone stopped to ask themselves why CS from these types of provider are so poor? The views expressed here are my own. I am not a Solicitor nor am I affiliated with any of the parties I mention. If you disagree with any of my comments please say in whatever way feels most natural to you. No one self improves in a bubble!0
