Hi,

Ive just looked at my online bank statement and noticed a charge from

'ID3Global'

The charge is minimal however I have no idea what this is for.

Can anyone shed any light?

looks like some sort of ID verification system... was it for 0.01?

paypal use a similar small charge but unlikely to be that? have you used your details for any signups or card payments recently? likely to be related to one one the recent transactions?

I use ID3 Global. They do a range of solutions for ID checks etc.

  • My nephew just bought some goods at Currys PC World yesterday on a financing plan with Dixons Retail and today, lo and behold, a charge of £1.01 from ID3 Global appears on his account as debited yesterday. Like others in this forum there was absolutely no mention made of this fee at the time of purchase and so I have contacted Currys to advise I expect this to be refunded immediately otherwise I will be informing the authorities that a theft/fraud has occurred. Deducting funds like this must be illegal surely?
  • Hmm! I just opened RBS and a TSB account and I too have this??

    Will I get it back??

I'm sure the police will be dropping everything as soon as you inform them the crime of the century has taken place.

The odds are the transaction will never be completed, just the amount "earmarked."

Same here. I opened a RBS account and I have this pending. I used my BoS card to verify my identity, but at no point during the application did it say this would appear. I was just about to ring BoS to report my debit card as compromised before typing the company into Google and coming across this thread.
