Vodaphone offer 500mins + text per month £15!

I've seen offers at various phone shops for a deal with Vodaphone offering a phone and 500 mins plus texts for £15 per month. I currently have a Virgin payg phone and put a £14 a month bundle for 40 mins calls and 100 texts. The Vodaphone deal sounds better to me but I'm not sure if I should change or not.

Any recommendations please?

Where have you seen the £15 per month deal for 500 minutes? Is it a £30 contract with 6 months half price (or a cashback deal) or £15 per month for the length of the contract? I am currently looking around for a new cheap contract and thought the £15 per month for 250 minutes and 50 texts from 3 was the best deal at this price point.

500 minutes + texts for £15 on Vodafone sounds like a cracking deal to me!

I'm sure it was my local O2 shop, although I might be wrong (they're doing builidng works in our local shopping centre and alot of the shops don't have their usual signs out!). I looked on Vodaphone and couldn't see it there.

Will try and find out a bit more, it definitely sounds a good deal to me but I'll need to have another look (might be a SIM only one).

Sounds a bit strange that the O2 store would be offering you a good deal on a Vodafone contract!!!
Maybe it is the O2 Simplicity SIM only package you saw - 200 minutes and 200 texts (or 400 texts if you sign up online) for £15?

I never thought about that! There are 3 mobile phone shops very close to each other and it could have been in the Phones 4 U shop. Anyway, I'm off on hols on Saturday so won't get a chance to have another look so I'll probably miss out on it. I get easily confused with technology - have frequent senior moments!
