Yes, but I have nowhere to go and I don't have the funds for a new place. I would get money back from deposit but would need to find a lot more to cover the deposit and rent in advance. Rents where I am are in excess of £1100pm for a two bedroom. I don't have that kind of money and would also need to find a landlord who accepts housing benefit and they are few and far between xDMP Started June 20160 -
MTC I cant imagine what you are going through and I wish I had some practical advice. It sounds feeble but I hope things get better.
Good news Bob!
Tired tonight, been struggling a bit with anxiety, nothing new there and I am under a fair bit of pressure at the moment at work which doesnt help. Need to take care of myself a bit more.
On the plus side I am sticking to my mealplan, getting washing dry outside, and keeping on top of the housework. Managed to buy new cricket trousers for DS2 yesterday without buying anything else which was a result!0 -
Make the Change ok all situations are different of course. All I can say is what happened to me. I was the owner of my home and my neighbour who harassed me was a council tenant. I kept emailing the council until the anti social behaviour team within the council took me seriously. They sent someone round and I had to fill in a diary over 2 years. We had 3 occasions of police involvement in that time. In the end the council helped me take her to court and she was signed into a behaviour order so she could no longer do anything on the list of things that were considered harassment. I had to do that to sell my house as no one would buy it with her there without the protection of that order.
Appreciate you are renting but it shouldn't matter. No one is allowed to harass you in your home. The council must listen to you and take you seriously.
I know exactly the feeling you describe believe me. Our neighbour would beat on the wall with what sounded like a sledge hammer if my husband turned the kettle on at the wall. She also has a major issue with my then toddler running up and down our wooden floor. Baring in mind she lived next door on the ground floor. Her issues were exacerbated by heavy skunk usage....
It pains me to hear of aanyone else going through the same thing. I felt at times I was so alone as although the situation bothered my husband for me it was a million times worse as I am sensitive to others moods and atmospheres in places. I want your bully to be brought to justice. But if you feel you can go and stay with your mum for a time and figure out another route then why not. Life's too short. If there had been another way for me I'd probably have taken it." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Oh wow, that sounds horrid. I really don't think I could go through that process for that long. Life feels like hell at the moment and I have to leave when my OH leaves for work and come home when he does as I refuse to come home alone. I'm that scared.
I'm really trying to convince my mum to help me.DMP Started June 20160 -
